I could highlight a half dozen family portraits of the Amaral Family. Their family session was in Carmel at sunset, They were styled nicely and are a very athletic, good looking family who are very comfortable being themselves in front of the camera. I felt like we were on vacation taking pictures on the beach of Carmel. I think I am now part of the family!

The Flynn family is full of great energy and were willing to go wherever to get the shot. Their family session was in the fields of Salinas!

Mom has embraced me as their family photographer allowing me to take senior pictures of all of their kids to date. Their love for each other and for having fun shows in this picture!

The Chad and Kiana Amaral Family show the three kids, all very athletic and full of good energy. It’ll be fun watching them grow up!

Family Session in Salinas with the Burks
The Burks Family session was the quickest session in the history of photography. We were in a field in Salinas, and the kids all had things to do, people to see. We lucked out with the sprinklers in the background.
The Carr Family
If you know the Carr Family, you know what a special family they are. It was an honor to take their family portrait! I don’t know how we got them off their bikes and horses to get this session booked, but we got it done!
The Tavares Family
Family comes first for Pete. He ways this and more importantly, he models it and remind his kids of this.. Pete takes Family Portraits one to two times per year because he knows how fast life moves. and he wants to capture these moments.

I’m going to have two pictures of the Silacci Family at Corral de Tierra Country Club. They brought energy and a great attitude. I could feel the connection with each other.
Vessey Family session in Monterey
I worked with Jonathan for years (Super guys) and Sylvia styled their outfits for their family session in Carmel.. Even though Jon is an avid A’s fan, we have mutual respect for each other’s team.
The Grim multi-generation family session
The Grim Family shoot was taken near Marham Ranch. This was a fun, boisterous session. Finger gestures between families were being thrown around and a football game broke out at one point. No competitive issues with this great family!
Ellis Family photography session in Gilroy
Lifelong friends, the Ellis’s from Gilroy asked me to photograph their family at Gavilan College in the fall. There are too many stories to tell about this portrait session. But I i will say the Rylie caused the creek to run little faster for a couple of minutes there.

The beloved and respected Sherman family of Salinas had their family portrait taken at Pattee Ranch in Corral de Tierra in the golden fields of Salinas. Jeff and Mindy are pharmacists and the founders of Sherman’s Apothecary in Salinas, serving thousands of our residents. (Quick commercial plug)

The Eastman Family has invited my into their annual Family Holday Photo event. The theme this year was adventure in the kitchen baking cookies when Mom is not around. Needless to say, the fire department came, but we had the fire out way before they got there

The Hall family came down from San Jose (Campbell) for their Family Session. I went to school with Larry and have know these guys forever. Ask the girls about the worse practical joke to do to young impressionable girls. This is a fun loving family that wanted their photographs taken for a nice wall portrait.

So…… The Amaral Family of Salinas has set the record for most photogenic, authentically kind and fun, most athletic, well styled family who great photographs. (I know that sentence doesn’t really work, but by copy editor is at school) They are displayed proudly on multiple walls of their house! Great family!
